Every time I sign on to BGL I see at least 3 or 4 guests and they're not signed up. I would enjoy new members very much but I'm not sure how to get them to post. What do you guys think? Should we let them post as Guests in hopes that they will soon sign up and truly identify themselves or just forget them? Your opinions please.

yes. we should do it, then see how it works. If it doesnt work then we will squash it. I wanna see what they have to say. Even though there are more flaws than benefits. Im curious what it would be like. Even though this cat might get killed, i wanna know what they have to say and im desperate for comments.

Heh, sorry, I gotta disagree on this one. Just for the simple facts if they don't have the guts to join, they shouldn't be able to post in my eyes. Plus we might start getting some spam and junk posted all over the board. You know, all the stuff we don't wanna hear. Though, yeah, in a way I side with eloquence too. Just for the simple fact I am somewhat curious to what they have to say. Just at the same time I don't want this board to start getting trashed on by anonymous bitches. Well, when hypnotic gets on ask him... 'cause i think his two cents might help us decide on this lil' dilemma. Heh, I hope this kinda help in any way. I want this board to get back on its feet just as much as anyone else. I guess that's why you guys are starting to see so much come out of me lately.

I probably won't be much help. Because I feel alot like SK. I don't want random post from random people saying hella bullshit. But at the same time I want to know what these guests have to say. And like Mastermind said they might like posting and sign up with a name. But they might like posting and never sign up with a name and just post as a guest.
For me the bad outway the good. So, I say we keep it the way it's always been. You can only post on the site if your a member.

Though I agree with all of you, I think we need to try something new. Why? Because we've been doing it the old way for a while now and we haven't had a new member yet.
So why not try something new and perhaps we will get a positive response. If it does turn out bad then all we can always change it back.
