There is Room A and Room B. There are 3 switches in room A and there are 3 lightbulbs in room B. Now as one would hypothesize, each switch in Room A turns on a different lightbulb in Room B. However, the question does not lie therein and such a conjecture is absolutely correct. - The challenge is to find out which switch turns on which lightbulb. Herein, one might think that such a task is uncomplex. However, the crux of the problem has not yet been stated. Room B is not within one's line of vision while in Room A. Also, one has to make only one trip from Room A to Room B. How does one determine which switch turns on which lightbulb?

Although some might find the answer to this riddle quite perplexing. I believe the answer is quite simple.
If there is a Room A and a Room B then one simply stands in Room A turning on each switch one at a tme. Meanwhile, his trusty sidekick stands in Room B yelling back to him when a lightbulb turns on. Therefore the mystery of what switch to what lightbulb is solved.
The one possible visit to Room B is simply used to congratulate his sidekick on a job well done.

Damn I thought I was right.
Well, then you turn on two switches, and go into room B and see witch two lights are on. The light that isn't on goes to the switch that was turned on. And the two lights that are on, belong to the switches that you did in fact turn on.

You can't see the room B from room A.
You can only make one trip between both rooms.
Each switch can only turn on one light bulb.
How do you find out which switch turns on which light bulb.

1. go to lowes and buy 3 dimmer switches
2. Turn on all the switches (first one highest, second one half as bright, and the third one very dim)
3. Walk over to room A with the light bulbs and see how bright each light bulb is and match it with the switches in room B.
